Yes, semo porridge exists. You make it like pap, and you drink it like pap. My dad used to make it for me when I was younger and frankly, I thought it was cool. I just did not want it in large quantity. But then I came across this post by @Sahsuu_, and I started craving it all over again.

So, I set to finding out how it can be prepared, and here’s what I came up with.

HOW TO PREPARE SEMO PORRIDGE:

1. Put water on fire.

2. Put semo in a bowl.

3. Add cold water and stir together until it is smooth.

4. Add the mix to the boiling water and stir until it thickens a bit.

5. Your semo pap/porridge is ready for consumption.
