If you have data on your phone, then you must have heard the sound of people dragging something gra-gra-gra on the floor. You heard it too, abi? Well, it’s not suitcase they dragged or Tiger generator, it is Halima Abubakar and it is because of baby picture.

Halima Abubakar: Why I used another woman's photo to announce baby ...

So, who is she, and why did they drag her like that? We will tell you. Halima Abubakar is an actress. If you have seen Okafor’s Law, then you will remember the actress who played the role of Cassandra. Yes, that is Halima Abubakar.

The actress put to bed recently. And in a bid to make the news known to her fans and loved ones, she put up this picture on her Instagram and captioned it: “A gift from God And I will cherish you for life. Biggest miracle. A Boy.”

American Mother Calls Out Halima Abubakar For 'Stealing' Baby ...

Of course people congratulated her. But then an American woman named Ariel (@the_arielb on Instagram) happened to be the original owner of the picture Halima used to announce the birth of her own baby.

Halima deleted the picture and explained what exactly happened.

“Hi, I am so sorry about this inconvenience. I had my baby last week and googled baby pics to use to illustrate my baby had come before I take pics of mine. I saw the beautiful baby nails and couldn’t help but use it.

“I never claimed the baby was mine, I don’t understand people on social media these days. I apologise for this. I will delete the picture. Congratulations on your baby. God bless.”

Apparently, the reason why Halima Abubakar didn’t post her baby’s picture was because he was in ICU. Here’s her explanation, and a photo of her own baby.

But Halima Abubakar’s explanation about the baby picture appears to be a bit late for some people, hence the dragging. They dug up past gist of that time when Oge Okoye posted someone else’s dogs and tried to pass them off as her own; also that time when Kcee posted someone else’s dollars.

The internet never forgets.
